Bon soir everyone!!
These pictures were taken yesterday on my merry way to a small, local supermarket/eatery in Ann Arbor called Babo.
I suppose needing more milk inspired me to wear cow print.
I brightened up the typical black and white color scheme with a nice slice of BLUE and a kick from these beautiful suede, point-toed Manolos.
There's something so beautiful about local communities.
When I first came to Ann Arbor, MI all I saw was a teeny town of teeny stores but it turns out, this town is a nook goldmine with delicious, fresh, locally grown/made food, hilarious comedy shows, sultry live jazz music and dusty, enchanting bookstores.
This was a thoughtful gesture that made me long for my dear dog, Sasha, back in NY.
There are so many creative ways that storeowners can make passer-bys smile...or smirk if you're a tough crowd and aren't easily impressed on a rather grumpy day.
Nevertheless, living a more locally-tuned life has most definitely enhanced the quality of my days~
I mean, who doesn't appreciate samples of wine on Wednesdays, live jazz on Thursdays/Fridays and tea w/scone specials after farmers market on Saturdays?
Yup, the local life sure is the good life. I hope this inspires you to stroll out a bit and find your own nooks~
Thank you for taking the time to read! Sit tight, the weekend is near!!

I love your outfit! especially loving those shorts! thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog - you were asking about the zara shoes - yes they are very comfortable and they are open in the sides so i think they would fit wide feet!
ReplyDeleteThanks for getting back to me! I'll keep that in mind next time I buy a pair for another post! :)
DeleteThank you! They are so comfortable and I recently bought a spray to protect the suede so they can be worn during the wintertime!
